A German tourist named Klaus Müller, 65 years old, visits Magallanes in Chile for the first time. He has a medical condition that forces him to go to the hospital there. The doctors at Centro de Salud Familiar Dr. Juan Damianovic want to know his current medications. Unfortunately, the patient cannot remember his medications, additionally he does speak neither spanish nor english. Luckily in Germany the Digital Patient Record (DPR) has been around for some time and he has the necessary information documented. The DPR is stored on the mobile device of the patient, such that technicians can export the patient's dataset, which is held in the FHIR Format and following the International Patient Summary (IPS) specification. The patient received some blood pressure medication, therefore Chilean physicians want to find a similar/equivalent product to give to the patient.
